CIA: Users can’t use BlackBerry Work for iOS 2.13 to open calendar events

This Critical Issue Advisory (CIA) can be devastating especially for BYOD users who often (if not always) update the app once it’s released.

While we wait for Blackberry to issue the fix in the future release, fortunately, the workaround is pretty straightforward. I’ve tried and will now share the screenshots below for your reference.

I think this workaround is great for general troubleshooting steps as well.

The initial steps are the same whether you have Kerberos Constrained Delegation (KCD) set up for BlackBerry Work or not.

Launch Blackberry Work again. What comes next depends on whether you have Kerberos Constrained Delegation (KCD) for BlackBerry Work set up or not.

If you do have Kerberos Constrained Delegation (KCD) for BlackBerry Work set up, you will NOT be prompted to enter your credential.

If you do NOT have Kerberos Constrained Delegation (KCD) for BlackBerry Work set up, you will be prompted to enter your credential.
